This project was a unique and ambitious undertaking in Winchester, MA. The goal was to convert two closets in a master bedroom into a full bathroom, providing the homeowners with a convenient and luxurious addition to their living space. The renovation began with the removal of the wall between the two closets, creating a spacious area for the new bathroom.

A comprehensive plumbing and electrical work was carried out, including the installation of a 3” drain pipe and water supply lines from the basement to the new bathroom. The water base heater was relocated to accommodate the new layout. A pocket door was installed to maximize space, and a bathtub was fitted into the new frame.

The bathroom was equipped with GFCI power outlets, and a new wire was installed for lights and outlets. An exhaust fan was added for ventilation, and a light switch and light fixture were installed for optimal lighting. The walls above the tub were waterproofed and adorned with new tiles, and the bathroom floor was also tiled.

A new vanity, toilet, and sink were installed, along with a new mirror, light fixture, and bathroom hardware sets. The drywalls for the new wall were installed and plastered, sanded, and painted, giving the bathroom a fresh, new look. The project also included optional jobs such as moisture protection, the installation of an advanced toilet, a GFCI outlet behind the toilet, a recessed light above the shower, and a mirror with a power outlet behind.

The result of this renovation was a modern, functional bathroom that catered to the homeowners’ needs and aesthetic preferences. The bathroom now serves as a relaxing retreat, combining practicality with high-end design.
